When to go to Recco

For the sea, go between June and September: in 2026 the Ciappea and Centrale beaches have a Blue Flag, as they did in 2025. From April to September the Golfo Paradiso boats leave Recco for San Fruttuoso, and they may be suspended when the sea is rough. In May there’s the Festa della Focaccia, dedicated to Recco focaccia; in early September the Festa del Suffragio, with fireworks from the piers: these are open-air events, so check the forecast in the days before.
