For those who prefer to drive, Tellaro can be reached via the A12 highway, exiting at Sarzana in the direction of Lerici. Keep in mind that the town center is a restricted traffic zone (ZTL) and most parking lots are located outside the town.

Tellaro is also served by public transportation, with local bus services provided by ATC. Route 11 from La Spezia to Tellaro passes through Lerici and runs regularly throughout the day. It is important to note that the bus stop is within walking distance of the historic center, as the narrow, winding streets are generally too small for buses.
