Trails and sea

From Noli, trails climb up Capo Noli, towards the Semaforo and the Grotta dei Falsari (Forgers’ Cave), and the Sentiero del Pellegrino leads towards Varigotti. These are steep stretches, partly on rock: in the rain they become slippery, and in summer it’s best to set off early because of the heat. For the sea, go from June to September.

When to go to Noli

For the trails and the village without the heat, choose April, May, September or October. In September there are the Regata Storica dei Rioni (historical district regatta) and the Repubblica del Gusto (food festival). In Liguria, alerts for rain and thunderstorms are issued by ARPAL, with three levels: yellow, orange and red alerts.
