Ceriale's climate month by month

Ceriale is on the Riviera delle Palme, at the eastern end of the Albenga plain, between Borghetto Santo Spirito and Albenga, about thirty kilometres from Savona: the table uses the averages for that city. Sea, pier and rain

For the sea, go from June to September: the beaches of Ceriale, with beach clubs and free beaches along the Lungomare Armando Diaz, are described one by one in the dedicated guide. From the seafront the Carlo Camino pier reaches more than a hundred metres out to sea, and a walkway below Capo Santo Spirito leads to Borghetto: when the sea is heavy, keep away from the edge. The Le Caravelle water park is open from early June to early September and reopens in June 2027. On rainy days the easiest outing is the Grotte di Toirano caves, a few kilometres away, with a guided tour and online booking; in Peagna there is the “Silvio Lai” Palaeontology Museum, with fossils from the Rio Torsero: check the opening times first.

In Liguria, alerts for rain and thunderstorms are issued by ARPAL, with three levels: yellow, orange and red alerts. Check the level on the official Allerta Liguria website (in Italian) before setting off on hikes or boat trips.

When to go to Ceriale

For the sea and Le Caravelle, go from June to September; July and August are the busiest months. For the village of Peagna and the seaside walk towards Borghetto and Loano, choose spring or autumn. On 16 August the town celebrates its patron, San Rocco, with a fair on the seafront, a procession and fireworks in the evening: check the forecast in the days before.
