These are the figures for La Spezia, about 24 km away as the crow flies: treat them as a guide.<\/p>\n<h2>Sea, coves and trails<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/italian-riviera.com\/en\/riviera-di-levante\/framura\/beaches\/\">beaches of Framura<\/a> are coves of rocks and pebbles at the foot of the coast, reached mainly from the station and the cycle path. With the libeccio (south-west wind) and storm surges the water rises quickly over the rocks: on those days, don&#8217;t go into the water. The hamlets are linked by trails and stone steps: they become slippery in the rain, and in summer it&#8217;s best to walk early in the morning. The tunnel road towards Deiva Marina and Moneglia has been closed since 2025.<\/p>\n<p>In Liguria, alerts for rain and thunderstorms are issued by ARPAL, with three levels: yellow, orange and red alerts. Check the level on the <a href=\"https:\/\/allertaliguria.regione.liguria.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">official Allerta Liguria website (in Italian)<\/a> before setting off on hikes or boat trips.<\/p>\n<h2>When to go to Framura<\/h2>\n<p>For the sea, go from June to September; for the trails between the hamlets and the cycle path towards Bonassola and Levanto, choose April, May, September or October.
