1. Basura Cave: The Corridor of Footprints.

The tour begins with Basura Cave, also known as “Witch’s Cave.”
Here you will see the famous Corridor of Footprints, where hand, foot and knee footprints left by prehistoric humans over 14,000 years ago have been discovered.
These tracks provide a direct link to our ancestors, offering a unique glimpse into life in the Paleolithic period.

2. The Bear Cemetery

Continuing on, we come to the impressive Bear Cemetery, an area where the bone remains of more than 130 cave bears(Ursus spelaeus) have been found.
These animals used the cave as a shelter during winter hibernation between 50,000 and 24,000 years ago.
The quantity and state of preservation of the finds make this section of great paleontological interest.

3. Speleological Formations.
